Well, it's been a long time coming but I've finally managed to bring this site up. It took about a week (part-time) of coding, browsing, reading, image-editing, etc. using various open source tools. I've owned this domain since the (late)90's and have finally managed to put a fairly dynamic site together (thanks to the excellent Django framework).

To be honest, I probably spent more time making the header image in GIMP than any other single task! ;)
